Conditions

All musculo-skeletal conditions: (all ages including children)

  • Spinal conditions - all levels and conditions that are non-surgical and non disease related
  • Sports injuries - including muscle, tendon and ligament injuries
  • Whiplash injuries
  • Postural problems in adults and children
  • Sacro-pelvic dysfunctions
  • Muscle imbalance problems
  • Joint disorders - What is not generally appreciated is that physiotherapists are Joint Experts. Simply, if our joints don’t work well, or if we load them with stresses and strains that they are not designed for, then the body doesn’t move. Whether the problem is with the muscles, nerves, tendons, ligaments or bones, then the joints will not work properly and the movement and loading of the body is changed. So whatever the cause, our aim is to restore the best possible movement of the joints.

Conditions that are not normally thought to be treated by Physiotherapists:

  • Headaches and migraines
  • RSI/work related upper limb disorders
  • Asthma, eczema, hayfever
  • IBS, spastic colon & colitis
  • Dysmenorrhea (painful periods)
  • Circulatory disorders
  • Continence problems
  • Fractures
